"Old Soldiers" Captain America and Wolverine Production Cel and Master Background (Marvel, 1997)

X-Men: The Animated Series "Old Soldiers" Captain America and Wolverine Production Cel and Master Background (Marvel, 1997). In this flashback sequence, Logan recalls working with Captain America during World War II. This original hand-painted 12 field two-cel setup is unusual in that both figures are shown in the episode flipped from facing right to facing left, done during production. The mirror image of Wolverine getting a spare set of claws out of his backpack for Cap to use in climbing a steep rock surface can be seen at about the 7:32 timestamp, with Captain America seen a second later, again in a mirror image. The gouache on 13" x 10.5" board production background can be seen at the 7:40 mark, this time not mirrored. Cap measures approximately 5" x 6.25", while Wolverine is 4.75" x 6.25".

The setup is in overall Very Good condition with minor handling wear.  I have added a matted frame with plexiglass for safe transportation and protection.
