This is an original hand-painted animation cel used in the actual production
of this cartoon. Cels (celluloids) are fundamental building blocks behind all
animated film entertainment. The fluid motion portrayed in a cartoon is the
result of thousands of individual original pieces of art, the animation cel.
Several hundred such cels are required for a single minute of animated film.

This is an original animation production cel created under the guidance of a
major entertainment studio, by talented artists expert in animation art. It
was used in the actual cartoon itself.

Even though thousands of cels are used to create a cartoon, each cel is
a separate piece of art, different from any of the other cels in the cartoon.

Art History:
•He-Man was produced in 1983 by Filmation Studios. The series ran for three
(-successful years in syndication and in 1989 was seen on the USA Network.
Mattel featured the He-Man characters on a highly successful line of toys. Dolph Lungren stared as He-Man in a major motion picture release. In all, there were 130 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe half hour shows.
