Dan Fouts 1983 Topps #374 DP PB (PSA 9)

Daniel Fouts (b. June 10, 1951), a legendary NFL quarterback, played his entire 15-year career with the San Diego Chargers (1973–1987). At the University of Oregon, he set 19 records and earned All-American honors. Fouts became known for his prolific passing, helping his receivers achieve multiple 1,000-yard seasons. Under head coach Don Coryell, “Air Coryell” thrived as Fouts led the league in numerous passing categories, including yards per game six times and total passing yards four consecutive years (1979–1982). He was selected to two All-Pro teams and six Pro Bowls, earning the 1983 MVP and several major Player of the Year honors. Despite never appearing in a Super Bowl, he retired with 43,040 passing yards and 254 touchdowns. Fouts was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
