Alaska's 2023 State Medallion – Alaska Commemorative Quarter Reproduction

Governor Sarah Palin had her news conference to release the official design for Alaska’s Statehood Quarter at the Alaska Mint in early 2008. There were several great designs to choose from. She had a “children’s vote”, and this winning design of a Kodiak grizzly bear was chosen.

It is 1 ounce .999 fine silver - with Gold relief (24k plating on the front of the silver coin). It is similar in size to a silver dollar and comes packaged in an airtight container and handsome gift box. The reverse features the popular “Land of the Midnight Sun” design.
