The 2025 United States Mint Silver Proof Set® includes 10 proof-quality coins, each bearing the “S” mint mark from the United States Mint in San Francisco.
The set contains five 99.9% fine silver American Women Quarters™ with proof finishes, which honor:
•    Ida B. Wells – investigative journalist, suffragist, educator, and civil rights leader.
•    Juliette Gordon Low – founder of Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
•    Dr. Vera Rubin – astronomer known for her work on galaxy rotation and contributions to studying dark matter.
•    Stacey Park Milbern – disability justice activist.
•    Althea Gibson – multi-sport athlete and the first Black athlete to break color barriers in tennis and professional golf.
All coins are struck at the United States Mint facility in San Francisco. Each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The half dollar and dime are also composed of 99.9% fine silver.
The 2025 United States Mint Silver Proof Set consists of 10 proof coins placed in two clear plastic lenses within a designed package. The half dollar, quarters, and dime are made from 99% fine silver. All five 2025 American Women Quarters™ are packaged together in one protective lens.
This release concludes the four-year American Women Quarters series, which began in 2022. The series has issued five new quarters each year featuring reverse designs that recognize American women who have contributed to various fields such as suffrage, civil rights, science, government, humanities, space, arts, and more, reflecting diverse backgrounds.
The obverse of each coin features a portrait of George Washington, based on Laura Gardin Fraser’s original design for the 1932 quarter. Inscriptions include “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2025.”
The reverse designs for 2025 honor:
•    Ida B. Wells: Depicted gazing forward; inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IDA B. WELLS,” “25 CENTS,” “JOURNALIST, SUFFRAGIST, CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST.”
•    Juliette Gordon Low: Shown with the original Girl Scout trefoil; inscriptions: “JULIETTE GORDON LOW,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” and “FOUNDER of GIRL SCOUTS of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.”
•    Vera Rubin: Profile surrounded by a spiral galaxy; inscriptions: “DR. VERA RUBIN,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and “DARK MATTER."
•    Stacey Park Milbern: Shown speaking to an audience; inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” “DISABILITY JUSTICE,” and “STACEY PARK MILBERN.”
•    Althea Gibson: Pictured on a tennis court with a racket and ball; inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ALTHEA GIBSON,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” and “TRAILBLAZING CHAMPION.”
The other lens contains:
•    One Native American $1 Coin: Obverse shows Sacagawea carrying Jean-Baptiste; inscriptions: “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.” Reverse features Mary Kawena Pukui with native adornments and the inscription: “United States of America,” “$1,” and “Nānā I Ke Kumu.”

Each set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
