In 2025, a one-half ounce, .9999 fine 24-karat gold proof coin will commemorate the coin's 25th anniversary. Minted at West Point, the coin includes inscriptions such as “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “ONE DOLLAR.” The coin is presented in a black case with gold foil imagery and includes a certificate of authenticity.
